Account Suspended

When you go to Broken Forums, the screen shows, "Account Suspended." We have no idea why. We have prepaid through June and have not received any DMCA Notices. A ticket has been submitted to the support group.

Host got hacked

 Our host got hacked (not the site itself). We may be down or slow for a day or two depending on how quick they fix this. More info here:

Broken has been down since 10:30AM EST / 4:30PM GMT. Hopefully we're back up and running soon!

As of a few minutes ago, at about 7:30pm EDT, Broken is down. I'm getting sick of this host we're on...

Broken has been down for the last few hours. This is due to server issues at our ISP. Hopefully things are back to normal quickly...

Looks like there are technical problems with our server. Hopefully it doesn't last too long...

We're back!

So these FUCKING MORONS at JustHost seem to think that we are hackers and phishers! Anyway, we're back up (for now) while we work on getting a new host...

Our host seems to love screwing us over. Hopefully Broken will be back up later today. We are looking into switching hosts but all the admins are very busy so the process is going slower than we would like. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone, we shouldn't have such frequent issues once we switch hosts.

Support finally got their heads out of their collective butts and fixed us up...

Our domain is back up but the site is giving a 403 Forbidden error. I'm in chat with support...

Account Suspended (Again!)

Looks like we got suspended again. We have no information yet - there have been no more DMCA notices... Hopefully this doesn't last too long...

And we're back!

After getting a couple of things straightened out with our host, we're back up and running...

Looks like our account got suspended with our host. We got two DMCA notices recently so that may have something to do with it. BilboJr is the main contact for our host so he would be the one getting email from them. As soon as I hear from him, we'll figure out our next steps.

Unhacked!

Same hack, same fix. We're working on some stuff to prevent this type of hack in the future... Enjoy!

Broken Hacked Again

Took us a few hours to get around to looking at it. Broken is now mostly fixed but we ran out of time so we took the site down for now. RT will be back from work in 11 or 12 hours from now and will work on finishing up the process then.

And we're back!

We figured out the hack and removed it with NO data loss! Enjoy the show! :)

Broken Forums has been hacked!

Someone decided to jack the forum. It looks like no data has been lost. Just gotta get the thing unravelled and we'll be back in business. Right now, it simply shows a DB error since I was able to change the username and password to access the database.

Unfortunately, life beckons and I have to grab a few hours sleep and then go to work.

And we're back!

At 4:42PM GMT, our server was rebooted and Broken Forums is back up...

Our hosting company is also running some utilities to check the server so hopefully this doesn't happen again!
